History of Ideal Electric
Ideal Electrical Contractors Inc. is a full-service electrical contractor, serving Georgia and the surrounding States for over 60 years. Founded in May of 1959, by brothers Bobby and Ray Lindsey. Ideal started with the brothers and one other full-time employee. The company grew over the next several years as they began to handle residential, commercial, and industrial electrical projects. Bobby’s youngest son Mike came into the business in 1981 working as a field superintendent and later as a project manager. In 1992, Ray decided to retire after 32 years at which time Mike purchased his half of the company. Bobby retired in 2019 after 60 years of dedication and hard work. Ideal Electrical Contractors Inc. is still family owned and operated today by Bobby’s youngest son, Mike Lindsey.
